Adding ALT Text to Client-Side Image Maps in FrontPage 2000

Welcome! This viewlet will demonstrate how to add alternate text to hot spots on a client-side image map in FrontPage 2000.
A hot spot has been created over the N on this picture. In FrontPage 2000 the HTML must be edited to add alternate text to the hot spot.
Locate the hot spot's HTML code.
Find the code specifying the hot spot's hyperlink. Add the HTML code alt= double quoataion mark alternate text doulbe quotation mark here. Where your alternate text appears between the quotation marks.
What ever you type between the quotes will be the alternate text. In this case North will be used as the alternate text for the N on the picture of the compass.
Preview your web page to check the alternate text.
